Remote Control Guide
To control the stage using a computer, connect the motor controller directly to an RS-232C interface or connect it to a GP-IB board mounted in the computer. If a sequencer is used, the sequencer can be connected to the motor controller through the RS-232C unit. With the RS-232C connection, the communication speed is slow but the system can be configured at a lower price. With the GP-IB connection, the price is higher but the communication speed is faster and connecting to other control devices is easier.

Motor Controllers / Interpolation Driving, Velocity Features, Home Positioning
Interpolation driving
Velocity Profile
Motor controller SC series are available to chosen trapezoidal and S-curve drive. In addition, acceleration and deceleration drive can be set asymmetric.
In the Trapezoidal drive mode: start at an initial speed, linearly accelerate, move at a target speed and again linearly decelerate when nearing the target stop. In the case of an asymmetric trapezoidal drive, the gradient in acceleration differs from that of deceleration. In the Scurved drive mode: start at an initial speed, accelerate and decelerate along a parabolic curve, which provides smooth, shock-free motion. The asymmetric S-curved drive mode provides separate settings for acceleration and deceleration.
Selection of Home Position Return Mode
Fourteen (14) types of Home Position return can be selected depending on the combination of sensor used.
